How long does the sedation effect last?

It is highly recommended with any type of sedation to have another family member or friend drive you home from your appointment. If you use oral sedation, which needs to be taken before your appointment, they should drive you to our office as well.
Can anyone experience sedation dentistry?
Most of our patients are good candidates for sedation dentistry, but we will always check that your safety and health are our top priority. Dr. Daniel Avezoff will check your dental and medical history to be sure that sedation will be safe and effective. If you have any allergies to medications used in the anesthesia or a history of sleep apnea, sedation dentistry might not be a safe option.
